Equinox has completed hundreds of well site tie-ins and designed gathering systems, trunk and group lines as well as field facilities (including compression, dehydration, refrigeration) with ultimate transport of products to a central sour or sweet gas processing facility.
We execute hundreds of wellsite projects annually, with program sizes for single clients ranging from 3-5 sites, up to 60-70 sites in a given drilling season, with significant experience in winter access only regions. We regularly work with sweet and sour wells that may be single, dual and even triple well sites connecting to 4”, 6”, 8” gathering pipelines.
For wellsite tie-ins, Equinox will provide the expertise required to specify, size and utilize the appropriate equipment including separators, wet and dry meter skids, in-line heaters, condensate pump skids, methanol injection pumps and storage tanks, corrosion inhibitor pumps and storage tanks, PSV’s, flare knock out drums and flare stacks as needed.
All SCADA requirements as well as RTU’s to handle wellhead ESDVs, skid control and pump control will be managed by Equinox electrical and instrumentation engineering staff.
The Elleh program was a 2-year program executed as a 20-week, winter program for 60 sour wellsites per year in remote, northern British Columbia.
The wellsites included grassroots single, dual and triple wellsites. The use of a Standard wellsite packages allowed for very tight cost control of engineering, and allowed for consistency in capital material procurement as well as construction of sites, which again created cost efficiencies in project execution.
Each wellsite included Metering package, Tankage (Methanol, Corrosion Inhibitor and Propane tanks), Vent Stack, Pig Launcher, SCADA tower and Solar Panel. The engineering drawing package included Site Plan, P&IDs, Isometrics, Pile Layouts, As-builts.
In addition, approximately 60 km of gathering pipeline projects were executed all designed and licensed for 2% y and 10% CO2. Gathering pipelines included 4”, 6”, and 8”, with 8”, 10 or 12” group lines. All the pipeline systems included pigging facilities and were complete with SCADA.
